Club Championship – Round 2
The second round of the series is being held at Hut Hill on Sunday 2nd February. 10.30 start
Sam’s Catering Wagon will be at this Trial.
Awards Presentation
The “Presentation Evening” is being held at the Roddington Forge Music Club on Saturday 15th February. An application form for tickets is available to download from the Club website – but you do need to book ASAP as there are about 40 places still available.
As well as presenting the Club awards we will also have Southern Centre Awards to present on the night – something a little special.
This is just as much a social event as the presentation, with music provided by the “Steve Earle Disco” and a supporting act which is billed as:
“You may have seen brilliant Magicians before, and you may have witnessed great comedians at work, but finding these two acts together in perfect harmony and performed by one individual is extremely rare.”
Just to confirm – this is not the two young ladies, often found in a caravan in the woods on a wet Sunday doing a night shift for pocket money. But they do keep us entertained for the rest of the year.
The entertainment should suit all ages, so why not make this a family and friends night out? It doesn’t matter if you do not have an award to collect – it all about the taking part........................
As always, if you have some presents from Christmas that you do not want, bring them along for the raffle – Avon bath salts, Pomagne, a motorbike DVD you have only watched once etc, etc are all appreciated. As always there will also be a few “Free Ride” vouchers up for grabs.
We have recruited a new “Head of Raffles” – so if a new volunteer asks you to buy tickets, please give generously and graciously, without any of the abuse given to the current vendors!
If you are an award winner we must have confirmation that you want to receive your award by next Friday at the very latest. Please reply to Sue ASAP
If you have an annual award from last year we need it back for engraving for the new owner, no later than 19th January.
Camping Weekend
This will be the 28th and 29th of June at a new venue. Full details will be published on the website.
Netley Marsh
Volunteers will be sought to set up the arena and to ride, to promote the sport of “Trials”, at Netley Marsh during the weekend of the 25th – 27th July. Keep the weekend free if you would like to get involved?
