Wecome to the new members who joined the Club at this Trial. We hope you enjoyed the day and we look forward toseeing you at future events.
Round 3 of the Waltham Chase Club Championship is being held at Hut Hill on Sunday the 2nd March. Start time 10.30.
Sam’s Mobile Catering Van will be at this Trial.
The 50-50 routes introduced in January will remain for all 2014 rounds, as will the Youth Academy class for our younger riders.
If attending this event can you please park in herring bone style to enable as many cars as possible to park inside the venue.
Awards Presentation
Just a reminder that the Waltham Chase and Southern Centre awards are being presented at the Roddington Forge Music Club on Saturday 15th February. If you haven’t booked as yet you could tell the wife or girlfriend that you are taking her out for a Valentine treat – you might just get away with it. DJ Steve will play some suitable music for the romantics amongst us and the “entertainer” will keep you amused throughout the evening. We look forward to seeing you there.
Event Sponsorship
If you would like to raise the awareness of your company why not sponsor a Waltham Chase Trial and promote your business to club members and their mily and friends. For a one off payment £50.00 we will name a round of the Club Championship as you wish, with the premium being used to buy an awards for the winner of a class in that round of your choice. Hut Hill Day
Provisional date for a Hut Hill Tidy Up and Practise day – Saturday the 8th March – Confirmation and details to follow.
The Hobnail Trophy Trial
Advance notice – The Hobnail Trophy Trial, an Open event, is being held on Sunday the 11th May at Butser Lime works. Look out for an entry form in the Sporting Motorcyclist and on the Waltham Chase website. Adult advance entry is £15.00 with entry on the day £20.00. Full details to follow.
Steve Saunders Training
Do we have any youth riders interested in joining a Steve Saunders Training day at Hut Hill. Places are strictly limited to just 8 and will be 50% funded by the Club to help develop our youth members. Please contact me if interested.
Centre Championship 2014
On behalf of the Southern Centre, Waltham Chase will promote the Centre Rounds this year and look forward to some enthusiastic competition from Waltham Chase members. The first two rounds are being held by the Ringwood Club on Sunday 9th February followed by Southampton and District on Sunday the 23rd February. You can find details of venues etc in The Sporting Motorcyclist or on the respective websites.
