Work, Rest and Play
Hut Hill is looking a little tired and is in need of a little TLC.
On Saturday the 7th of February Waltham Chase MCC are holding a “tidy up day” and would like the help of volunteers to come along to collect rubbish, cut back over grown areas and create some new sections.
The plan is to turn up and “sign on” by 10.00 am, bringing with you any suitable equipment, including saws, gardening tools and gloves.
We will work in allocated areas through to 12.30 and then break for lunch.
After the lunch break, by way of reward, there is a free practice session for the volunteers ,using the new sections you have created up to 3.30.
If you are not able to join us for the morning session you can turn up for the afternoon practice session only from 1.00pm, for which there will be a charge of £10.00 per adult rider and £5.00 for under 16’s.
There will be no catering van so remember to bring along some lunch and don’t forget the Mars Bar
