News Update - 6th May

The Hobnail Trophy Trial

The next Waltham Chase Trial, The Hobnail Trophy, an ACU Southern Centre Championship Round, is being held at Butser Lime works on Sunday the 22nd May, with a start time of 10.30.

Post code GU31 5SX will get you close to the venue, where you will pick up TRIAL direction markers.

Being a Centre Championship Round A and B routes will be suitably challenging, with C and D routes being similar to a Club Trial.

Due to the nature of the venue there is no E class at this event

Non-Stop TSR22b rules will apply.

We do encourage riders to enter in advance, to enable the programme to be compiled prior to the event; however you can turn up on the day and ride, subject to entry capacity.

An entry form is available to download from the Waltham Chase Website.

Offers to “Observe” in advance are appreciated and to save the need for riders to have to share observing duties.

£20.00 expenses are paid to observers at this trial.

“Sam’s Catering” will be on site serving hot and cold refreshments.

We look forward to seeing you at Butser.

We are holding a practice Trial on Friday 10th June at Hut Hill. The Gates will be open from 3.30 and will close at 8.00pm.

The fee is £10.00 for adults and £5.00 for youth riders. Cheaper than a trip to the pub!
