Waltham Chase Camping Weekend – 1st -3rd July 2016
Day Visitors Driving Instructions
If you are not camping you are welcome to ride in the Trial on either, or both days.
Directions to venue:-
Note: Directions and site access are different from last year and as originally posted last week.
The Trial is now in Kewlake Lane and not Cadnam Lane.
Disregard any previous directions. This is due to the recent heavy rain which makes the usual entrance difficult to access.
The relocated parking area site is on sand and gravel and drains well.
Leave the M27 Motorway at Junction 1
Take the B3079 towards Brook.
After ¼ mile look out for TRIAL sign. Make a sharp right hand turn into Wittensford lane.
If you are coming from the Fordingbridge direction the turning is on your left.
Now enter post code SO40 2NT into your sat nav. but not before, as you will be taken the wrong way.
At the end of Wittensford Lane turn left into Kewlake Lane.
Drive along Kewlake Lane and look out for TRIAL sign on your right,
Drive through the gate, closing it behind you. Drive along track to venue.
Saturday Trial – Youth and Wobblers Trial starts at 1.00
“The Great British Bike Off Challenge” will be Saturday from approximately 4.00 to 5.30 in the marked arena.
And then it’s time for the Cake Competition Judging – the highlight of the weekend!
Gary and Tony, our Master Chefs will start cooking the BBQ from around 6.00.
Menu: Burgers, Hot dogs, Jacket Potatoes and Salad.
Day riders are welcome to join in with the BBQ and activities after the trial finishes. There will be a BBQ charge of £5.00 per head. Please email to confirm if you are staying.
Sunday Trial – Club Championship Trial starts at 10.30
Catering:
Sam’s catering van will be on site on Saturday from 11.00 am to 4.30pm, and from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm on the Sunday.
