Final Instructions – The Geoff Chandler Trophy Trial

“Deb’s Food Truck” will be open from 9.00am. The Wi-Fi can be poor at Ham Lane. It is worth having some cash just in case the Wi-Fi fails.

The post code gets you the venue entrance. Look out for large green metal gates and yellow direction arrows.

Follow the track for approx. ¼ mile to the car park. The track is narrow with limited passing places.
If parking in the “Field” please leave a two meter space between your vehicle and the hedge. It is a Public Footpath.
Note: From 9.00am to 10.00am it will not be possible to exit the venue as the entrance route will be “one way” only.
· The gates will open at 9.00 am.
· Before you ride please “Sign On”
· If you retire or leave early, please “Sign Out” at the desk.
· There is no “Formal Briefing Session” at the start but please check the notice board for any updates.
· A “Section Map” will be displayed at the start.
· From 10.20 move to the “ENTRY TO COURSE” sign. The Marshall will advise when to start.
· The sections open at 10.30 am.
· Start on the Section Number as sown at the bottom of this page and displayed on the Notice Board. Each class is to start on the same section.
· There are 4 Laps of 10 Sections.
· Please ride the sections only once at each visit, and in number order, to keep the trial flowing and to make sure you do not miss a section.
· The route is “One-Way,” marked with “Yellow Arrows.”
· Stop for a break at a convenient time and please support the “Catering Van.
· The sections will close at 3.00 pm. or before if all riders have completed the sections.
· Please vacate the venue by 3.30pm
· If you are a Waltham Chase MCC Member please remember to provide a printed “Number Card” for your bike, with the riding number and route colour you have been allocated.
· Non-Members will be issued with a Rider Number in the series 800. A “Number Card” will be issued on the day.
· Random scrutineering of bikes will take place in the pit area and at the start.
· It is the responsibility of riders to make sure their machine is safe, all necessary protective clothing is worn, and the machine ridden is of the correct capacity for the rider.
· Please use an environmental mat when refuelling.
· ACU rules TSR22a “Stop Allowed” apply at this Trial.
· There are no male toilets at this venue.
· A defibrillator is located at the “Sign-On Desk.”
· First Aiders will be wearing a “Green Tabards”
· Please take all rubbish away with you. There is no rubbish collection point.
· Youth Riders must always be accompanied by a responsible adult and wear the appropriate protective clothing and have arms covered.
· Results will be sent to all riders for checking before being published and uploaded to the Club Website.
The Club will make a donation from the proceeds of this Trial to the Alan Sansom Brain Tumour Charity.
