The Geoff Chandler Trophy Trial

We held the Geoff Chandler at Ham Lane on Sunday, and being a Centre Championship Round it was a little tougher than our normal Club Trials but having said that there were some very respectable scores recorded. The results can now be viewed on the Club Website.

The Centre Championship table will be updated within the next few days after any challenges are made.

We always appreciate riders’ comments and from this Trial we had a couple regarding queuing. The problem was partly down to only having 13 sections, and with over 90 riders it became a little congested at times. We would have liked to have had more sections but really struggled to find Observers for the 13 sections, with myself and our land agent Mick Morris both observing for the day. The Club policy is not to open a section without an Observer present.

Offers to Observe will be appreciated for the upcoming Trials.

PS. I really enjoyed the day observing at Ham Lane!

The Keith Marshall is being held at Manor Farm, Langrish on Sunday 5th October. This event is primarily for Pre67, Twin Shock and Rigid Machines, however as a result of members requests there will also be Veteran, B, C and D classes for riders over 50 years of age on Modern Machines.
