Waltham Chase Camping Weekend – The Great British Bike Off

The Waltham Chase Camping weekend is being held on the 2nd and 3rd July at Cadnam.

Tent pitches are still available for club members and family. The site can be accessed from 4pm on Friday the 1st and must be vacated by 5.00pm on Sunday the 3rd.

Driving directions to the venue will be uploaded to the Waltham Chase Website.

Along with the two days of sport, we have family games and “challenges” on the Saturday afternoon, including the judging of the cakes. The challenge being to bake a cake (or cakes) with a Motorcycle Trials theme?

Prizes will be awarded for the best cakes. The cakes will be used for the “pudding” at the evening BBQ – you don’t get them back!

Non campers are welcome to ride on Saturday afternoon in Round 3 of the Youth and Wobblers Series, which commences at 1.00pm, or on Sunday in Round 5 of the Club Championship which starts at 10.30.

Normal entry fees apply.

Look out for and park in, the car parking area for Visitors. Please do not enter the main campsite.

Hot food and drink is available on Saturday and Sunday from Sam’s Catering and Saturday visitors are welcome to join us at the BBQ in the evening at a cost of £5.00 per person.

As an added bonus coarse fishing is available on site and there may well be a fishing completion on Friday evening.

I have been asked “what happens if it rains?” The answer - “you will get wet but still have a great time”. Any way – there can’t be any rain left – or is there?……….but do check the website before travelling just to make sure there are no problems
