ACU Lockdown Statement
The ACU statement shown below confirms all scheduled events during the lockdown period are cancelled. Sadly for Waltham Chase we have four events booked during this period.
Refunds will be issued by the ACU.
We will monitor the situation closely, but still hope to be able to run events on 13th and 31st December and an additional "cutting out/practice day" at Ham Lane.
ACU Statement
Coronavirus (Covid-19): National Lockdown 5th November – 2ndDecember
Covid-19 infections are rapidly increasing across the whole of the UK and in other countries. Listening to the Scientific evidence, the infection rate is doubling every nine days. As such, the UK Government has ordered a second national lockdown for England which will take effect from Thursday 5th November until 2ndDecember.
So, in terms of motorcycle sport, where does that leave us? The answer is straight forward with no ambiguity. For the period of the national lockdown, all ACU activity in England which includes competition, practice or training should not take place. Any ACU permit issued for activity to take place during this period is cancelled.

The Dick Hoyles will be held at Ham Lane Langrish on New Year’s Eve – put the date in your diary and book the day of work! A new venue with a good range of sections. Entry will be live on the ACU system next week with full details.
