The Autumn Shield
The results have been sent to riders for sanity checking before uploading to the Club Website on Wednesday. Look out for more events at this underrated venue next year. The local team, Colin Mew, Bob Hampton, and Geoff Muston keep on finding new sections in the woods. Thank you. The only complaint I have received from Sunday is: “I got lost”.
Hut Hill Practice Trial – Saturday 30th October
Entry now full and closed – but we have set up another practice day at Oakridge Copse. See below.
If any cancellations are received for the Hut Hill date the slots will be released on the ACU portal.
There is no on the day entry.
Oakridge Copse - Practice Trial - Saturday 6th November
Entry for our last practice day of 2021 is now open on the ACU Portal.
An “Observers Training Session” is also being held on Saturday 6th November at Oakridge. This is an opportunity for anyone who is interested in “Trials” to come along and “get involved”.
Without “Observers” our events cannot take place.
Please book your place by email: walthamchasetrials@outlook.com This session is open to all, not just Waltham Chase Members.
Let’ create a pool of Observers for the “Centre” for the benefit of all local Clubs.
If you would like to join this session and have a bike you can bring it along for a couple of hours of “free practice”, but you must have “Trials Registration” and book your ride via the ACU Website
Macmillan Cancer Support Charity Trial – Saturday 13th November
The entry is now filling on the ACU portal for this year’s Remembrance Saturday Charity Trial, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support being held at Hut Hill on Saturday 13th November.
We need a couple more “volunteer” Observers for this Trial
We also already have some super raffle prizes, including a Family Ticket to the Sammy Miller Museum, (Donated by a member) £50.00 Cash, some articles of clothing from BVM, a Club Body Warmer and a pack of 5 Avon Bath Cubes, there were six but one is missing.
More raffle prizes appreciated.
The Oakridge Trophy Trial – Sunday 28th November
The Oakridge Trophy is being held on Sunday 28th November at Oakridge Copse. This is an “easier” trial, with classes for Adult and Youth C, D and E riders, although there may be a little mud to play in.
The entry is now live on the ACU portal. Awards for all class winners.
2022 Club Membership and ACU Competition Licences.
We now have the 2022 “ACU Magic Numbers” available should you require one, but you cannot use before November 1st to renew Trials Registration.
