Awards Presentation
Tickets are now available for the Awards Presentation being held in Otterbourne on Saturday, February 7th. In addition to the presenting of the trophies there will be a buffet, live entertainment from Uncle Jack “the original and best live jukebox,” dancing and a super raffle. There is a licenced bar at the venue. All award winners are being notified by email, but this is an event for all, not just the Award Winners.
To purchase tickets, go to the link: https://acu.sport80.com/public/wizard/e/206589
You can request both adult and youth tickets from the same screen. The “drop-down” to select ticket numbers can be it a tad “clunky” on a mobile or tablet – it is easier to type in the number or tickets you require.
The deadline for trophy confirmations has been extended to the 24th December.
If you have already booked tickets for the Presentation your awards will be ordered.
If you are not booking tickets until after Christmas please email to advise you are attending to make sure we order your awards.
To save on unwanted Trophies we will not be ordering awards if we are not advised of attendance.
With the price of gold and silver being at an all time high we have to use our Awards Budget carefully!
Annual Awards – Time to return them
If you have any Waltham Chase MCC or ACU Southern Centre annual Trophies or Shields can you please return them to Hut Hill at either of the two upcoming Trials. Thank You.
Waltham Chase Youth Classifications – 2026
The ACU banding for Youth Riders can become a little inflexible as it is dictated by age. The new classes are broadly the same but give riders with differing abilities a class to enter.
Youth Expert (A plus upgraded B)
Youth Intermediate (B plus upgraded C)
Youth Novice (C plus upgraded D , or cautious B)
Youth Beginner (D or C or B if new to the Sport)
Youth Cadet (E or cautious D)
This also gives our younger riders a named class to compete in.
Give me a call or email if you experience any booking issues.

Mike Wiseman
